I have been absent from the Board for quite some time -- I had to catch up with my calligraphy commissions and renditions which had fallen hopelessly behind -- even now I am nowhere near caught up so I may disappear from the Board again for awhile shortly.

I actually read most of your recent posts on Monday of this week and once more I am captivated by your marvelous photographic skills especially the pictures of our Arizona desert and Dan Bach's & Miles Anderson's Nurseries. I had lunch with Dan on Monday and showed him all your photos -- he was amazed and asked me to pass on to you his appreciation and friendly greeting. I will visit Miles next week and show him your pics also. BTW, K.W. we only visited the western venue of the Saguaro National Monument in April -- next year we can visit the Eastern division which I personally like better.

Beverly sends you her personal best wishes K.W. You forever captured her heart when you said her fried chicken was exceptional! :)

PS: Are you going to post a pic of that recently uprooted mature Saguaro we found in the desert?

Yes Sir! :)
My next story will be about our visit to the "Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum".
On the way there we saw the uprooted Saguaro. Tomorrow or the day after we go back into the desert. . .

Best wishes

Magnificent photography as always K.W. Not only portraying beauty and the majesty of nature, but also conveying the essence of the Sonoran desert.

Wow!! Such great photos K.W.! Thank you for sharing your trip with us. Miles' place looks fantastic! Those Ariocarpus he has are giants! Would love to visit one day. Do you have any other pics of his place? Did you visit any other nurseries?
