Your Charmaecereus Silvestrii has blown my plants out of the water. Especialy the cuttings I took from the Barbara Cook plant. I have feeling the Charmaecereus Silvestrii plant that I got from ( Wembley ) IKEA last year , has yet to flower and mirror what your plant is doing.

This plant in the UK is and old fashioned plant, people have had them for 20, 30 or even 40 years. Sometimes it's called the peanut cactus, and frankly everybody should have one in their collection. So versatile, you can even put this plant in a rope or custom made hanging pot and eventually the light green stems will trail over like a maidens hair, and make an excellent plant. And when the plant is covered in these orange flowers, you will be smitten for life.

I like your G. Baldianum cross G. Andreae, thats a wonderful coloured flower. I have big weakness for Gymno's and you have me in a state of Mr Green

My Gymno Gibbosum flowered well last year, but had a white flower. This year it only developed one bud and that dried up. Maybe next year.

I purchased a plant of G. Mihanovichii last year at a local GC. It was bigger plant. I don't normally go for bigger plants, but I have tried G. Mihanovichii before and lost it on numerous occasions. I thought getting a larger plant might have a better chance of surviving, and it did. This season it has at least 12 buds on it. One flower will be ahead of the rest, but mine will make good show of Green/yellow flowers very soon.

Mammilaria Prolifera or ( multiceps ) texana is a fantastic plant . I have way too many of these plants

The plant and spination is dainty dark red spines among lighter ones, the flowers are like little stars, and when the fruits come it all gets ramped up to another level. The fruits keep through to the next season. So you often get a plant covered in Fruits and new flowers. It just just gets better.

Turbs as we know are very much like gems. Visualy they look fantastic even when at a small size. reminiscent of jewels or sweets that you swung the lid open to pick one.

.

=^_~=

So what i'm trying to say is, thats a magic set of plants you have there in flower there.
