Micranthocereus dolichospermaticus

Post by jp29 »

Alternate nomenclature: Austrocephalocereus dolichospermaticus, Siccobaccatus dolichospermaticus.

One of my favourite Brazilians. It's blue body, rusty red spination and fluffy white cephalia make it a much sought after species for greenhouse cultivation. It usually produces a cephalium when approx. 36" tall.

Nice shots.
My cactus must be gods. They demand blood sacrifice.
