Nothing special for you experts but I'm very happy with my first asterias flower. Bought it last fall in a tiny thimble pot, with a fake flower. Got the glue off, gave it TLC & it has really grown. Miserably hot here today, but this is my reward for rescuing it. More buds to follow too. Forgive me for being a proud newbie - Sue

Nice! Be careful about overwatering those extra-succulent cacti. They sometimes burst at the seams.

Very nice!!!!! I'm a newbie too and I get very excited when one of my cacti blooms! I always put them on Facebook for all my friends to admire..... Lol
