Re: Contest 73 : Discussion and related pictures
btw this year I had a new brilliant idea for my light display. I can't get a good pic of them at night tho, I havent figured out how to not make a blurry mess with my camera taking low light pictures.. Anyways.. it's called O. ficus tree.. (because well I just couldnt resist) So this year I put up lights on my O. ficus-indica. I will try and take pics again tonite and see if I can get them to be ok.
Here's to you, all you insidious creatures of green..er I mean cacti.
Re: Contest 73 : Discussion and related pictures
Hi Peter, having a look at your decorated ficus tree would be very much fun.
You could put the camera on someting solid and use the time lapse function so you don´t have to touch it in the moment it is taking the photo.

To late for your contest, but a cactus flower using the "Extrude" filter in Photoshop Elements.
I think it was a Notocactus flower without checking. The red centre is the stigma lobes.

If you would have painted this with color and brush it would have taken a few minutes more to finish- probably
