Here in a cool wet part of the UK it isn't easy to grow succulents outside but a few do well.
In flower, Hereroa glenensis, tough as old boots.
Top right is Neohenricia, actually a hybrid between the two species. It is also in flower, but nocturnal.
Bottom left is Maihuenia poeppigi which does OK for a few years and then rots off. It has never flowered.
Hiding in the shadows at top left is Echinocereus dasyacanthus, not in flower yet but it does have a bud.
