Had some time this weekend to go through the Gates show pics.
The full Photo Album is here Gates 34th Annual Show & Sale
The banner that i made for the club the night before, despite having months notice
Hey Buck, did ya notice i forgot something?
Echinocereus viridiflorus v. canus
Echinocereus engelmannii
Ferocactus cylindraceus
Pachypodium succulentum v. griquense
Opuntiads
Pterocactus tuberosus
Cliff "Mr. Everywhere" Meng
Cliff is always at every show. He is also the treasurer for CSSA.
My wife, Jenni
She was laughing because i was taking random candid snap shots and caught Cliff off guard...what she didn't know, is i also caught her
(also in the pic, is Linda (Cliff's wife -drinking the water) and Patti Caro of Cactus Data West.
Frank (local guru grower) Buck and Tony

Thanks for your efforts Darryl & Jen & Tony. That's a real group effort. NIce show and good sale. One small omission doesn't make the sign. It's nice.
By the way, the Parodia is an Echinopsis. It took first place at another club the next week, still blooming.
I love that Pachypodium. She sits outside all year. Now that she's a star, I'll probably take better care of her and kill her. The little Psuedolithos hybrid won smelliest plant in show.
