It's not a commonly encountered plant. If it flowers you'll know for sure - they're quite distinctive.

Might be Echinopsis ancistrophora.

Ok. It's just another one of my cheap cactus bought without ID, so probably is not a tegeleriana, which I didn't know was rare, but is the one that looked to me more similar in the enormous Echinopsis catalogues.

Well if you got that cheap, it is still a great find. We hardly ever see hooked-spined Echinopsis.
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti

It's an $1 cactus. Beside this one, I've just another with kooked spines. Once you named it here as Lobivia ferox.Image
