Re: Aeonium2003's random pics.

Beautiful Aeonium. :thumbright: We get the same heatwaves during summer. Our weather is opposite to yours. Thank you. Some of the plastic pots my plants are in decided to melt/deform in the sun as well... Most of the Aeoniums are going into dormancy. PXL_20220526_150425215.PORTRAIT.jpg PXL_20220526...

Re: Looking for dudleya seed

I too live in/near the natural habitat, sandwiched between the habitat of D. cymosa, abramsii, and farinosa. Thank you for the information, I'll get things prepared. :)

Looking for dudleya seed

I thought this would be a good place to look for Dudleya seed (rather than fishy etsy and ebay listings). I'm looking for ethically sourced dudleya seed. Not poached from the habitat...

Send me a PM and we'll see if we can work something out... Thank you.

Re: Winter watering

I would think that winter watering is fine if you can provide adequate heat and light. One of the reasons why people don't suggest watering in winter is because of etiolation. Without enough light, but with enough water, the plants can very easily etiolate.

Re: How do you ship seed?

I did exactly what you did for the standard method. On your rare seed method, have you ever checked how thick your envelope was? It's always gone through... I find measuring how thick it is difficult (I don't have the right tools) so I cannot give an accurate measurement. For what it's worth, you c...

Haworthia White ghost was in flower. I'll go and dissect a flower so I can see a close up of the organs. Always helpful as a reference when I have the opportunity to hybridize.
