Number three is definitely Espostoa, note the the wool is soft, unlike the stiff hair of C senilis. It's bit hard to tell the species until it gets a few years under its belt though.

taliesin, I've just done some more digging around and I found a reference to E. roseo-lilacina in my Cactus Lexicon by Curt Backeberg... dunno how I missed it last night. :oops: Backeberg's description is as follows... "body solitary or offsetting, 7cm high x 13cm dia. 14-20 ribs. radial spines...

Hello taliesin, I believe I've read somewhere that C. senilis takes about 40 plus years to reach maturity, and that seed grown specimans never flower, but I'm unable to find the source of that info. You also asked... anyone heard of echinopsis rosea lilacina or is it echinopsis lilacina rosea? Maybe...

Absolutely beautiful pix there Franj, I love the colour of that Delosperma cooperi, and your Mamm microhelia... I've never seen that species branch dichotomously, but only by offsets!
