Ultimately its a somewhat convoluted issue, hopefully any previously poached specimens find their way into stable hands that may allow for seed production in the long term. At least the very high prices may dissuade non-serious/inexperienced buyers?

Once the plant has been poached, surely doing the rounds and being grown on with collectors in a foreign country does not change the fact that they were poached from habitat earlier?
