Althogh I could see several Ariocarpus species pushed flowering buds up yesterday, only this one could open a flower. It was 4th flowering for this cactus in this season.

G'morning Nino, do you root Ariocarpus scions once you degraft them from Pereskiopsis, or do you re-graft them on more permanent rootstock? I have never grafted any Ariocarpus species and I wander if the Pereskiopsis grows deeply into them like it tends to do on some other scions? I root all degraft...

Photo 1: The scion has shown the charcter of cauliflower

Photo 2: New tubercles have turned to dual-fingers which I have never expected.

The photo is seedlings of Strombocactus disciformis. I repotted 35 seedlings but lost just one. They are in 5 cm square tubes and growing very slowly.

I could not see any new flowers of cacti yesterday but I could fined an opened seed pod on an astrophytum hybrid, hakujo fukuryu banjyaku. Seeds were harvested yesterday evening.

Two turbinicarpus alonsoi were in flower yesterday. They are quite small, which are in 6.5 cm square pots.

I have 2 plants which are similar size of Ariocarpus fissuratus f Big Bend. I posted one of them but the other one was also in flower yesterday afternoon. It was also 3rd flowering in this season for the cactus.

Just one cactus was in flower yesterday. It was 3rd flowering for the cactus in this season. It is the turning point of season from summer to autumn currently.

Two cacti were in flower yesterday.

I am sure I did not buy the cactus on 2nd photo but I am not sure how I got this one.
I also am not sure the name but it may be a Mammillaria schiedeana because the cactus is in flower in autumn.
