Thanks, that does look like it. Might sacrifice a pad next year and see if it can take our winters

Re: Help with a ID?
I can't help with the ID, but I can ask how long you've had it and under what conditions did you grow it throughout the year? Do you have any other cold hardy plants? I have a bunch. I like the cross section of the Lithops. Did you take the photo? I've had it about a year and a half. Its outside in...

No, trigona is flatter and smoother. I'm thinking it might be ewaldiana.

Repotted with all the limp blooms removed. I took off two big pups and it didn't even make a dent.

Re: Echinopsis chamaecereus care
Thank you for the proper ID and care info. I am wanting to propagate just 2 or 3 for trading purposes, otherwise I will leave the offshoots alone.

Echinopsis chamaecereus care
I picked up a Echinopsis chamaecereus today from s big box store. It has a few wilty flowers and over all is kinda rubbery from being so dry but is starting to perk up. I've never had a cactus like this and I'm not quite sure what to do with all the babies? Should I leave them be or thin them some? ...

Re: Stapelia bud blast
Water and pot size is good. It may very well be temps, its cold and damp right now. In facts, its always chilly and rainy when this thing is trying to bloom.
I'll have to figure out how to keep it warmer or else rehome it to a better environment.

Stapelia bud blast
I have a unknown stapelia thats had bud blast for 2 or 3 years in a row. This years was looking promising but now its starting to yellow and die. Last year I thought it was lack of water so I kept it damper but not soggy. I was in a north window but I moved it to a east window once I saw the bloom. ...

Re: ID please?
That does look like. I was really hoping for something with prettier flowers. At least it has interesting spines.
