Re: Germanation temperature
It was a rather disappointing germination rate this season so yesterday I had to sow some Lophophora seeds I have collected from my mother plant. Had to see something sprout this spring

Re: Germanation temperature
Thanks for your replies. All of my lillputiana seeds have now germinated and two of the Cintia seeds. But I'm worried about the aztekium seeds. Nor one have sprouted. Instead it looks that all 70 some seeds have mold on them and cold the seeds be bad?

Germanation temperature
Ive been sowing some aztekium, cintia knizei and blossfeldia lillputiana. I have the heater on so the temperature in the pots are 25C all the time. Should i turn off the heat in the nigth time? would it be better for the germination?

Re: Degrafting / Rooting
Nicely done! They look very good! I did 3 grafts of ariocarpus 3 years ago. They grown fast but they became a bit etoliated in the winter season. I kept them in the windowsill inside year around. How did you treat them in the winter season to get them that well grown(temperature, watering )?

Yes indeed. I've planned to graft them all on pereskiopsis so would have seen erlier if it would be a ritteri.. If so it would be some expensive ritterii seeds. like 20 euro . can't wait for some seeds of that cacti

Re: My cactus probably need some TLC
Nice to see another Scandinavian here on the forum I think you should repot it as the other guys say. But I think you should wait until April. Because the plant is going dormant now, and it's really no benefit to repot it in this time of the year. Good luck with the cacti

Re: Schlumbergera opuntioides
I've noticed that its a sensitive plant. I got 2 pads of opuntioides, some hatiora rosea and an another "rare" one and put them all in the same pot for rooting. But i took one opuntioides-pad and grafted it. After some months i did see that all the 3 species in the pot had got fungus. So h...
