I am in total agreement with you about the weather, we did not get the sun and warmth at the right time and some of mine, that should have flowered in June (and earlier) are now doing so....some have only just started budding up....bit late me thinks :cry:

Have just ordered another 19 of these Schick hybrids and am waiting for another 15 which should be here any day now.

I will post them flowering as and when they do so.

thanks, thought you would like pics. Blooms were 11.5cm (4.5") from cacti to flower tip and 10cm (4") in diameter.

if they are perfectly round and you find them in the soil as well as on top...there may be some clear ones too, then these are snail eggs. usually with a jelly type texture.

I had one or two of those ....well, 6 cacti with them...this year and I used provado. You can get it in spray or as a concentrate. That sorts them out.

where to purchase?

hi all

does anyone in the E.U, or over here, know where I can purchase 'Ancistrocactus uncinatus' and 'A.U. wrightiana'?

I have been after these for ages and can't seem to find an outlet for them.
