Re: Cacti Guides' Lophophora Guide
L. williamsii is self-fertile, everything else not. WOW, Ian, I didn't know that! That's the key then to my Lophos, if they bear seeds (and they do) then they are williamsii. Then again, they are all together in an open greenhouse, so natural pollinators may well be at work causing hybrids. It's no...

Re: Lophophora...legalities question
Maj, No we have dumb laws not "interesting" ones, lol. I so wish Kada (Loph) would jave time to chime in on this but he has been very very busy lately. He could talk to no extent on this subject. He had a article he wrote published towards the end of last year on this very matter. But for...

Re: Lophophora graft, seed to flower in 138 days
Thanks all, it was a fun project!
I have a few ideas to go faster next winter
It has opened a 2nd flower 10 days later, and a 3rd bud is on the way.
@Robb, the timelapse is hosted at tinypic.com and then added to the post using IMG tags

Re: a few to ID please
How faded are the labels? This might sound silly but a photo of a faded label might give enough of a clue to someone to ID your plant. I had to go through them all taking pics of each label to try to recover any lost names, but some were too far gone (about 30 of 250). One of these I mislabeled tho...

a few to ID please
I picked up a collection recently and some labels were either faded or missing. Here is a few that still lack names. Any help appreciated! ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
