one quick point as well. This winter is an el nino year. So the snow in FL while rare is probably part of that. The pacific waters are warmer then usual which allows more moisture to flow into the US off the pacific and also off the gulf of mexico, which is allowing more precipitation to fall everyw...

I have no idea what kinda cactus that is, but the flower is cool.

I do like the flowers too, but I like spines like some other people do as well.

I lit some pads of one on fire once by accident and it grew back. Somebody, I wont mention any names around here hates PP with a passion and put the pads under the fire wood, however there is still tons of them around the area where the burn pit was so they rooted themselves since there was none rig...

thanks Dustin/Daiv I think that I solved the problem by creating a new photobucket for my cactus pictures, as well as all the rest of em... lol

Its probably easier that way anyways so I dont have to chop them down to size :)

yup. now I know to avoid ignoring something for like a month in a glass of water, which I managed to keep mostly full. I mean I didnt totally ignore it, but....yeah

I tried to grow one of those Avacadoes once when I was younger and I forgot about it and it turned into mush.

One thing to remember about the mighty saguaro. The vast majority of them growing in the US grown in Arizona and a small number in Cali.

It might be. It's small so that is why I am confused. Most of the ones around here are at least 10 feet tall and have huge pads.. however, it might just be a baby....
