It's common for Sansevieria cylindrica to grow pups with normal looking leaves. They'll will grow cylindrical leaves when they mature.
The new pups will take quite long time before growing cylindrical leaves, so if you want the mature plants always look cylindrical, you can remove and repot the pups.

Re: Mrs.Green windowsills-growing cacti against the odds (links on page 9)
I only have two Hoyas ; the kerrii and a carnosa. Both seems to thrive with full sun exposure but I am pretty sure ‘full sun’ here and were you live e.g. is very different 🙂 Hoya carnosa is one of the most common Hoya here. Nice pinkish flowers, with lots of sweet nectar dripping from the flowers. ...

Re: Mrs.Green windowsills-growing cacti against the odds (links on page 9)

Suddenly it sprouted new growth and became a plant. My mothers patience paid off. She had the plant...

Re: Need help Identifying these two please
The 1st one is an Euphorbia hybrid.
Euphorbia cv. Cocklebur, or sometime called Euphorbia x japonica.
It's a hybrid of Euphorbia susannae and Euphorbia bupleurifolia.

Re: Red not green
Most of my Echinopsis chamaecereus are outdoor on the ground without any protection from hot summer and cold-wet winter rain. most of them have red stem. They are cold hardy to -8°C. I think it just normal for this species, with extra sun and temperature.

Re: Help! I think my cactus is dying
It's an Euphorbia. Looks like Euphorbia ammak. It's a big plant for a relatively small pot. You might want to remove it from the pot, and check the root system for any rot or dead root or possible root bound. If is root bound, you can cut back some of the root, leave it rest to dried and healed for ...

Re: Aloe advice
Yes, you can root them from stem cutting, as you do with most succulents.
If you search for propagating tree aloe from stem cuttings, you should be able to find some information.

This is what I use to collect pollen. P1090333.JPG P1090335.JPG I use tweezers to remove the pollen from the flowers. Different shape/size of tweezers to suite different flowers. Place the pollen into a medication capsule (size 000), then into a sealed plastic bag with label and silica gel (keep dry...

Re: Lithops rubra
I think it's normal.
Because Lithops optica is the dominant gene, and cv. Rubra is recessive.
You need to consistant cross pollinate stronger coloured cv. Rubra to maintained the darker red/reddish-purple.
The one on the bottom right has better colour than the other 4.

Yes. I think they are springtails species Entomobrya atrocincta. Male and female have different characteristics.
