Seeds too hot?

I am growing cacti from seeds for the first time and in my small room the best light is on the windowsill, however, my radiator is directly below the ledge I want to put my seeds on. The window faces west and has a little direct sunlight so I thought this would be the best spot. Is the radiator a pr...

Re: Cactus seeds dead?

The seeds look good, they arrived in a small cardboard box so some protection. Thanks for the advice! Frost is not a problem for seeds. Rain could, but even if you just allow the seeds to dry within a day or so, they should be fine. One thing seeds don't like is being crushed through postal sorting ...

The seeds were delivered in a cardboard box and were in my mailbox that is outside (at night its been below 0 Celsius here). Did this damage the seeds? Are they dead or are they not effected in any way? Would love ...

The last looks like Cleistocactus strausii, IMHO. Spination can vary on young plants. New growth is getting etiolated, it needs more light.
Yeah I neglected it before, have it in the windowsill now. Thanks for the advice!

Am I correct?

Hi, I need some help identifying these cacti/succulents. I already did some research but would like to know if I am right. 1. I think this is a Euphorbia Horrida, it has the same dark green color with the red-ish spikes and the dried flower tips. 2. I think this is a Pachycereus pecten-aboriginum, i...
