Rhipsalis baccifera??
Hi. I have had this rhipsalis for a few years. I feel it is a baccifera, but not sure which one. I thought it might be horrida, but doesn’t seem hairy enough. The older branches and nearly totally naked. Photos of fruit, flowers and comparison to R. puniceodiscus. Many thanks for any suggestions. Si...

Green clumping barrel with red flower
Hi everyone. I originally thought this was a Denmoza, but now it has flowered I have no idea. I have spent hours on the internet searching and cannot find anything close. The biggest barrel is about 25cm across. The flower has just opened. I would really appreciate any ideas for where next to look. ...

Is there a yellow version of Echinopsis spachiana
Along with other cacti, I have six plants that look like echinopsis spachiana. Three are quite yellow. They are alongside other green cacti (including other e. spachiana) that are quite green and healthy. All plants are over 12 years old. Could this be a variety rather than a deficiency. If it is a ...

Re: Cactus ID please - all Ferocactus herrerae?? (Is one a
First... I would hesitantly call wislizeni but would bet on it being a hybrid. The middle is genuine herrerae. Horridus is no longer accepted and is considered the same as herrerae. Flowers will always be yellow on herrerae which is a quick way to differentiate between it and many wislizeni. Since ...

Hello to Oz from Finland, 1 Ferocactus wislizenii (clump) 2 F. horridus 3 "true" F.h. IMHO PS all of them are very close relatives between each other Thanks Anttisepp. Hadn’t thought of F. horridus. I did buy a few horridocactus horridus back at about the same time (loved the name). Possi...

I'm wondering if the cactus behind it casts a shadow that has caused the twist??? (which direction is the cactus in back from cactus 2?) Hi. The big twisty one gets full sun all day. The tall cereus is to the south west of the barrels, so rarely casts a shadow. The Trich is to the south of the gard...

Cactus ID please - all Ferocactus herrerae?? (Is one a
Hi. I have three different cacti that I have been told are all Ferocactus herrerae. They were all planted at the same time, in the same soil in 2009. The pictures show them all in one shot (so you can see the size) and individually. I only have flower photos for two of them. Edit: Could the clumping...
