type of yucca
anybody know what type of yucca this is? I'd like to put it in the ground but need to know how big and tall it will get. The plant has spurs/ thorns running up it's side. I spared the poor thing from a trash heap. I live in the Coachella valley.

can't seem to find this one online. columnar tubes with fine thorns running up the sides with a crown of small appendages. Currently in a pot but I'd like to plant it in the ground, I live in the California low desert. I do not know how big it will get or sun/ shade, waster regime, etc...

I have a large barrel cactus, approximately 4' tall (I believe it's a native California barrel). I found a soft spot at the base so i dug it up and started boring into what appears to be rot, it has a pumpkin smell, is an orange color and the consistency of a squash. I removed most of the soft stuff...
