Re: Senecio Haworthii poorly ...
Hi thank you so much for your help, A clarification of my wording, the plant has been on a table next to my brightest window, so it’s not right next to the window pane, there is also a radiator under the window which is generally warm. Would this change any of the advice given? I have moved the pla...

Keep her in as much light as possible - and water her when the soil is completely dry and she starts to show wrinkling to the leaves.
It would be good to propagate too! Using a sharp, sterile knife cut it down. It also might help correct the stretched look and keep it more compact

Re: Is this Astro a goner?
Just to clarify as I’m new to this and experiencing a similar thing - 8 fluid ounces of peroxide to 16 fluid ounces water? If the peroxide you get is 3%, that's correct. 3% is all I see at my grocery store, so if yours has a higher percentage, you'll need to do some math to arrive at the correct di...

“Dilute 1 part peroxide to 2 parts water, and that'll give you the 1% peroxide you need to soak the roots. An example of the setu First, it kills any potential plant pathogens that could lead to rot. Second, it promotes faster healing of the roots after they've been disturbed by unpotting..” Just to...

Would love to know what these two are..
Hey! I’ve had these two for at least 5 years. They both recently had an incident where the tops got damaged and I needed to chop them off - and one is growing two new ones! The second is sulking probably, knowing her.
Would love to have any idea on what they both are.

Re: Am I going nuts? Optunia: valid concerns or paranoia..
When I purchased this also it had been living outside, had grown fruit that didn’t ripen and have long fallen off leaving some craters. Since bringing it home it has put on all of the vivid green pads and seems happy in its location of full sun (6am until 2pm). I believe it’s a sand + stones + dirt ...

Am I going nuts? Optunia: valid concerns or paranoia..
Hey guys, I’ve had this one for a wee while now. I’ve noticed a few things that I thought were the norm, but are they actually?! B29D3B44-CB19-450B-8F53-4AC890CC31B1.jpeg - I’ve got darkish forest green coloured spots on some of the pads. - it is wrinkling - is it because I need to water again, or h...
