Re: Updated seed lists
https://adblps-graines-cactus.com/ was updated last week... Ugh...I was too late to get anything I really wanted. Really bummed. Yeah, Aymeric de Barmon sells out of the popular stuff within hours. I got lucky this year and got most of my order, even though I submitted my order about 8 hours after ...

Re: Updated seed lists
Has anyone ordered from Succseed and had the seeds shipped to Canada?
I'd like to order from them and was wondering if there're any import requirements for the seeds to make it through Canadian customs.

Re: Updated seed lists
Thanks a lot! Hope I get all good batches 😀 I heard recently bad reviews of Koehres, any idea about the Kakteen Piltz? I've ordered from Kakteen Piltz about 2 years ago. Their prices are very reasonable and all the seeds I ordered had high germination rate. Each packet of seeds (especially the mese...

And it's open!
I pollinated it, fingers crossed that it sets seed.

Re: 7 month old Avonia quinaria seedlings are flowering?
Perhaps it is just the lighting/heat conditions that favor flowering? Indeed those are flower buds congrats darn it I hate when I find a new plant on here that I now want to grow. That could be it, I had no idea my growing conditions were ideal though haha. Thanks! This one is definitely a plant wo...

7 month old Avonia quinaria seedlings are flowering?
My 7 month old Avonia quinaria seedlings (grown from seed) seem to be flowering from their first stems?
I'm ecstatic but it seems a bit too early for them to be flowering...

Re: Updated seed lists
Does ADBLPS usually send order confirmation after payment? I paid on Nov 16 (via a bank transfer) and emailed back asking whether my payment was received. I haven't gotten a reply since then (it's been over a week)...I understand that they're probably very busy with orders, but they usually reply to...

Re: IDs for my two little cacti
You could use some artificial lighting to extend the growing season, but you might need a fairly strong light to keep them compact. Sorry about the bad ID, I was just guessing based on the spines alone. Guess I need to do some more research on ribs and tubercles and such (I should have known since ...

Re: IDs for my two little cacti
Thanks so much for all your help! A flower would definitely help a lot with identification, but these two didn't flower this summer and I think it'll be a couple years before they first flower... Regarding their lushness, is there anyway for them to possibly grow more compact? Or is it a lost cause?...

IDs for my two little cacti
I got these two little cacti over the summer and would love it if someone could ID them for me!
I'm guessing the first one is a trichocereus and the second one is a parodia?
