I was at a local nursery the other day and noticed a flat of these striking Coryphantha labeled C. elephantidens, but that does not seem right. It does not look healthy after your last cut, you shouldn't see any brown tissue on the cut.

I would agree with you on #1, second one reminds me of a tall Lobivia, but I can't remember which.

Some kind of Ferocactus that has been grown under poor light conditions, needs more sun, but not full sun-needs to be aclimmated slowly
