I just noticed today that my new arrival has about a 2 inch split/crack at its base. I can see that there is a lot of scarring at the base so I am assuming that this is natural. No I did not water it yet. I figured that the greenhouse people had just recently watered it so I would wait about a month...

When I took the first curve, slowly, the plant tipped over and I almost crashed trying to save it as it lay there s...

I'm a bit afraid of re-potting this guy.

Would you take it out and remove all the existing soil? Or would you just break it up a little bit and add more to it?

Pretty good though for $75. I couldn't pass it up. :D

What do you guys mean misting? You guys never told me to mist my plants in between waterings. Is this accurate? AM I supposed to be misting them every other day now?

Where do you find these numbers Iann? My bulbs are Philips F40T12/Plant and aquarium lights on both my seedlings and plants. My adult "christmas cactus" is now turning redish and so are some of my seedlings. Should I put standard bulbs in or mix and match? Pull the plants away? I have only...

Yes, I did know a few of them and I had a good guess to others but thought to post it here to verify my thoughts. I didn't have time to write every one down I knew at the time or my guesses. Still don't I have to go.

Thanks.
