Hello,you can leave them on the Pereski for twice that long or longer you could just grow the Harrisia from seed in the soil for 3-4 years while your Epithelantha ect.seedlings are growing on the Pereski stocks then after 3-4 years graft the seedlings on the Harrisia. I have also rooted Harrisia and Myrtillocactus in water in less time than the regular method. That goes against everything common cactus literature has taught us! :lol: i would have thought that the cuttings would have rotted, other than the pereskiopsis Thats what I thought also,but hey it works :...

here is my one and only try so far,6 weeks after grafting.I used F.glaucescens f. inermis
it sat and did nothing for 5 weeks and this last week it has really taken off.kinda blurred pic
