Succulent ID please

I picked up this interesting little plant in the cactus/succulent section of a plant nursery. I have no idea what it could be. Any ideas? Thanks

Looks like a starved Delosperma echinatum ?

Not really - just that it looks a bit thin compared most images of it on the net
