Fenestraria Aurantiaca In Bloom
My little Fenestraria, a rescue from Lowes late in the season, was my first ever cactus or succulent to bloom in my care. I was so happy to see that flower. The stem got a little floppy on me, the plant was getting a little leggy from being in the store, but that made for a rather interesting photo-op.

Cute.
These always look so silly to me when they bloom -- a bunch of green fingers with a dandelion coming out of them. Sadly, mine didn't make it thru the winter. Thank you for sharing your comic little bloomer. It is a good day for a smile.

My cactus must be gods. They demand blood sacrifice.
