Hi Jens!
Glad to have you join. I would LOVE to see pictures of your greenhouse. Do you have any pictures showing the snow outside and warm cactus inside?

Hi Dave
Yes I did take some pictures of that iglu on the site where my greenhouse used to be located.
But I don`t have webspace of my own and am not sharing some on photobucket and so on.So I can´t post pictures yet. Can you give me a link on how to do it?

That was january but feb. isn`t any better. But on the other side it should also insulate a little...hopefully . In the inside the min /max says 5° C for min.

Very nice! That is a good-sized greenhouse. It looks factory made. Polycarbonate sides?

I've seen people insulate with "bubble wrap", do you do anything similar?

hi Dave
I tryed to reply twice so far but the uploading of the next picture took some time and so the forum system asked me for my log in again - but unfortunately it didn´t accept the login that I used shortly before.
I have 2 question : 1. Did I use it the wrong way?
2. How much time am I granted to write a post without having to log in again?

Jens,
Ahh, this is a bug that is too common with the forum, but I do not have a way to prevent it.

It seems to only happen with Internet Explorer. For some reason it will start to "forget" the login cookie as the temporary internet files get full.

Very frustrating, but at least it is an easy fix:

Under "Tools" -> "Internet Options"

Find "Browsing History" and click "Delete..."

check "Temporary Internet Files", "History" and "Cookies", then delte them and the problem should go away for a while.

It may be slightly different in older versions of I.E.

You can always e-mail me too if you can't post, but need more help with this.

Hmm. Did you just delete the cookies? The browsing history and temp files need to be deleted too.

Have you ever tried Firefox? It is free and highly acclaimed. You might consider trying this option.

I run both I.E. and Firefox.

53% of the people who visit this site use I.E. while 31% use Firefox.

I use I.E. because that is more common, but Firefox has some really fantastic plug-ins.

Hello Jens,
welcome to the cactus and succulent forums from a former "Nordlicht". I did spend most of December and almost half of January near Bremen and I too thought, that for northern Germany we definitely had too much snow. The city of Bremen was already running out of salt (Streusalz).
Well, I do see snow here too, but after one or two days it always melts.
Well, with 800 cacti, you must have some good ones. I can hadly wait to see pictures of them.
