Byron's 2010 collection topic

Post by Saguaro123 »

Welcome to Byron's 2010 collection topic! As my first collection post of the new year, I decided to post pictures of what the collection currently looks like:

The clouds after it stopped raining:

Most of the cacti in the flats are hibernating under the gazebo where they can stay dry.

Here are the frost-sensitive ones sitting in the garage:

Now to the plants:
Mammillaria gracilis, clustering, and maybe putting out a bud or two
Image

The top of this Aeonium rotted, but I had no idea that the stem was still alive until I took out some leaves
Image

Aeoniums are at their best at this time of the year

Collected rain water in just one night. I have a bigger bin that I put out and cleaned after I took the picture.

Enjoy! :D

You got plants all over - a perfectly normal situation from my perspective!

Did you spend your winter shuttling plants in and out of the pergola between showers?

Are there buds on the Sclerocactus too? Mine have lots of buds this year, little stripy bits of candy at the moment.
