I was looking at my plants today and noticed this offset on one of my L. williamsii! I was so excited I had to take a picture.

Image

While I was at it I snapped a few other pictures...

Coryphantha elephantidens with a couple of buds.
Image

Mammillaria luethyi - This is a cutting from a grafted plant. It's been making roots, but just recently started making tubercles!
Image

Both of my large Peniocereus greggii have put on an amazing growth spurt in the last month or so.
Image
Image

Stetsonia coryne - I noticed it had put on it's first branch! Another exciting development! I got this as a 12" cutting about 2.5 years ago.
Image
Image

Stenocereus griseus - I got this as a small cutting about 4 years ago. It has been making extra arms lately. There is another one around the back.
Image

Here is a small Turbinicarpus with a long name. I got it from Darryl a while ago and makes these pretty yellow flowers every once in a while. Too bad it's not in focus! :(
Image

Nearly everything seems to to be going through growth spurt recently. The days are getting shorter but it's still HOT!

Nice bunch, Tim!
I wonder if your C. elephatidens could actually be C. pycnantha?
I recently got one and the yellow spines and mad offsetting is the same.

That williamsii looks to be in a bit pain. Tight squeeze!! :)
I repotted one of mine a few weeks ago to find the pups weren't pups at all, but seperate plants. Yay :)

Could be. I got this plant from AZ Cactus Sales labeled C. elephantidens. This is my first flower though!

It might be time to repot. I actually had to move the top dressing out of the way to get a view of the offset. I have a G. horstii that keeps making new plants from the bottom. About once a year I "harvest" and it makes more!

Is is possible that some seeds are finding their way down below the L. williamsii and they are seedlings rather than offsets? This one looks like it's coming from a tubercle. I'll have to take a peek when I repot. I have a bunch of repotting to do before the end of summer.

Tim, I'll bet those columnars would really go nuts if you stuck them in the ground!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. There were some flowers out and I also took some pictures of plants I haven't in a while.

Coryphantha cornifera - this is a big plant I've had for a while. Making flowers since the days started getting shorter.
Image

C. cornifera flower
Image

Escobaria nellieii - I got this plant on ebay and it didn't do anything for quite a while. It recently started making new growth from the main plant. Kinda weird looking...
Image

It also put out two offsets from the base...
Image
Image

Escobaria sneedii - growing like crazy!
Image

This was labeled Gymnocalycium bodenbenderianum when I bought it. Image

Gymnocalycium elephantidens - Nice pink flower.
Image
Image

Mammillaria baumii - a late flush of flowers, love the scent!
Image

Mammillaria magnifica catching some afternoon rays...
Image

I spied this volunteer in my Thelocactus macdowellii pot. I think it's a M. perbella.
Image

Here is the Thelocactus - you can just see the volunteer where the name tag intersects the top dressing.
Image

Mammillaria polythele inermis with flowers and dead flowers at the areole...
Image

Mammillaria vetula gracilis ssp. Arizona Snowcap. I just got this on ebay.
Image

Stenocactus phyllacanthus - with yellow flowers as expected...
Image

Turbinicarpus krainzianus minimus with three flowers.
