The poll is now around long enough that I should move into the next age class (I won't change my gender though).

Bill, You look mighty innocent in that shot. The one with you holding two masses of Opuntia - that one shows your tough streak!

I don't usually wear gloves but when it comes time to thinning out a six foot patch of prickly's gloves do reduce the amount of blood I loose

Hee Hee! I said I was just kidding...
I still haven't found a pair of gloves that the pokey's can't get through. Mostly the O. Micro. things. When I have to deal with them, I normally wear two pairs of cheap ones, then just through them away when I'm done. Glochids...UGH!!!
The hubby got me a fancy pair for my birthday, I'll have to try them out next weekend.

I will be 63 this year and as I can recall I bought my first cactus plant......mmmmmm....62 years ago

UGH...just looking at this again. I'm going to have to move to a different category in September. Not lookin' forward to it!!!
