Confusing ID

Post by Jura »

Hey guys,

I'm just hoping somebody can help me to ID this rescue from garden center.

I've tried Google lense but it gives me a result of rebutia, which is definitely not it or I haven't seen any rebutias with this sort of spination.

I've zoomed in spine for search and it gives me eriosyce, which is more believable, its also harder to ID it because of etiolation situation..

Any help appreciated 😊

Yes, I agree tiraquensis, the form usually seen labelled var. bicolorispina (n.n.)

Thank you so much guys, I was looking at tiraquensis yesterday and seen bicolorispina so assume that's it. Would it be correct scientific name?
