Re: BRC's cacti adventure...in a flat (a year as gone by)
Well Gem the problem is that I had around 4 other cacti in flower, and I was never able to see their flowers fully open, the best one was this one here...
Yes it is another gymno, i love gymnos !!
But yeah the other ones didn't open that much.. this as been just a terrible summer, right now it's actually raining outside and it will rain again tomorrow, and maybe even Monday
Hey StrUktO!!
Yeah we have been having some warm weather but not enough, and it pretty much rains every week... Thank you for the identification

Hello StrUktO!!
Well I'm not sure, when i got it i posted a few pictures for identification but, i wasn't possible to id, the only thing i know is that it's most likely a gymno.
And speaking of gymnos, this little rascal is on is 3rd flower...
and yes summer is finally here, it's hot, it's sunny and the plants are loving it

Indeed it is StrUktO , in fact they all are a bit thirsty, i have been very careful with watering due to the wacky weather we have been having..i mean these last few days we had temps around 30, 32ºC, and tomorrow it's just going to drop to 21ºC, and there is rain once again in the horizon... :S
But they are still bent on flowering specially the pink one i posted before this one, that's is fourth flower, and it is setting up three more, it's on a roll!!

Re: BRC's cacti adventure...in a flat (a year as gone by)
Lovelly Sunday, with clear skyes, and to celebrate the cacti put out new flowers
An old friend, that just keeps on giving, even if the flowers are smaller this time
this one i posted a few days ago, nice to see how the flower as changed colour
and these wacky T's have grown considerably

Re: BRC's cacti adventure...in a flat (a year as gone by)
It's been awhile...
...and on it's, i believe seventh flower, an old friend
C. Bumama
First caught on camera, second to show up. After this one the remaining ones didn't look as good, and never really opened up completely
third...
Fourth...
G. friedrichii always putting up two flowers at the same time, don't know why, but i'm not complaining
Now my new arrivals acquired thanks to iann
Escobaria minima
Epithelantha micromeris
Turbinicarpus pseudomacrochele
Gymnocalycium mesopotamicum
Eriosyce napina ssp aerocarpa
Avonia quinaria ssp alstonii
Gymnocalycium spegazzini var punillense El Obelisco, Salta
Echinocereus dasyacanthus SB415
I received two more but unfortunately they didn't make
Turbinicarpus swobodae
Eriosyce odieri ssp fulva
...and to finish it off a random photo of the table

I noticed you have a sundew plant in one of the pictures. are your interests in exotic plants moving you to carnivorous plants as well as cacti and succulents? I say this because as well as my collection of cacti I also have acquired a Venus flytrap and a pitcher plant!
