tap water is dirived from the sea by a reverseosmoses system. We have boreholes for most of local drinking bottled water. My well fills by water collected from my roof.

Funnyly enough we have rain at the momment Iann, plenty of soily-rain and thunder here in malta .
So it opposite to England's weather here (if you know what I mean).(LOL)

Well Iann I did taste it , not that it tastes bad but not as tastefull as bottled water .
Promethean_spark is there a tester for hard-water besides checking for significant white residue?
