Pachypodium & Adenium - The Cactus File Handbook 5

Post by CoronaCactus »

Hey guys,

Need some help trying to locate this book. I haven't had any luck so far, as it's now out of print.

Used or new, either is fine.

It's mainly for the Pachy info, but if you have any other recomendations on Pachy books, please feel free to post :D

Thank you!

Hey D- the Highland Succulents catalogue used to be a great reference on Pachypodiums, not sure if he's even still in business, but most of what I know about Pachys I learned just from reading his catalog every year.

There was also a special issue of the CSSA Journal in 1995 devoted to Pachypodiums, back issues of which might be available.

Yeah, sorry Daryl. I've been on the lookout for the "Thelocactus" book (number one in the series) for about two years now and no luck!

Darryl I have been chasing it for 12 months with no luck. One was on ebay in the USA a couple of months ago and it went for over $400

There will be a new book out early next year on Adeniums. Dr. Mark Dimmitt is the author

So I think I will waiting for that one to come out.

Makes you wish, we had some sort of CactiGuide.com book depository that members could buy from. And families of former owners could auction off book collections through.

There I go dreaming again!!
