I was taking photos of my plants this week and discovered a volunteer seedling at the base of one of my Leuchtenbergia's. The stem of that cactus is 1 5/16" diameter or 33.33 mm.
At first I thought it is a Euphorbia cylindrifolia since they were growing right next to this pot. I've never seen my Euphorbias set seed and I'm not so sure if they will. I don't know if the flowers are separate sexes or not.
Then I thought it is probably a Delospermum since I have them growing about 15 feet away from the Leuchtenbergias. I know those seeds get around by wind.
