The ovaries of the flower. Could be a developing fruit if the flower was pollinated. You'll know soon. The flowers fall off quickly if they were not successfully pollinated.

Sounds exciting! I sure didn’t pollinate it but I have a lot of milkweed plants for the butterflies and it seems the bees just can’t get enough of there pollen. Maybe one of them pollinated it. Echinopsis cacti need pollen of another genetically different plant (different clone of the same species, or entirely different species/hybrid) to make seeds. Therefore the offspring could be a hybrid when open pollinated.
