Re: Rebutia heliosa Theresae?
Cacti flowers can be beautiful but some can have very tiny insignificant flowers and also some very big ones according to the genus.
Epithelantha bokei, with tiny whitish/yellow insignificant flower in the centre. The fruits are much larger and more spectacular than the flowers.
Selenicereus
To return to the subject there was an excellent article on spine variation in the Rebutia heliosa group by Ralph Martin in the BCSS December 2003 Journal for those with access to it. The type form is of course the shortest spined and attracted the most attention when found.
