It is Welwitschia mirabilis.

Why not use one of the common names from its native range?

tumboa or n'tumbo [Angolan]

!kharos [Nama/Damara]

nyanka [Damara]

khurub [Nama]

onyanga [Herero]

They can live to 1,500 years. So best to start growing them while you are still young. :D

Thanks man!! I gotta show off Alfred, he's my denmoza and absolutely gigantic! About 2' tall, 1' wide in a 14" saucer!
