Advice needed

Post by abhikjha »

I recently got these beautiful Asterias. Is it advisable to put all of them together in one single pot? I really want to save space and pots so unless they need to be separately potted, I would like to pot them in one single pot.

Any advice would be helpful.

Cheers

Abhikjha,

I often pot astrophytums together until they are around 3cm (which takes about 2 years from seed in a tropical climate). It is no trouble if they are kept together beyond this size, of course.

You may repot them as follows:

Variegated 2: 1 pot
All others: 1pot

Variegated ones may need different sunlight strength in future.
