Hey, fellas. I'm new here, so first of all, thanks for accepting me :).

A little story about why I choose cactus... Just saw a big spikes and I loved it :D. That's it :). But for real, then I thinked about that it be nice "passive" hobby. Other hobby is sacle-modeling but it require many money and time, so cactuses with big spikes would be a "passive" hobby :D.

Not much expierence so I just trusted consultant - salesmanager on that shop where I bougt my first cactus love - echinocactus grusonii. I know it's a blog place, but don't want to create many posts, so maybe in this topic someone will answer me some questions and give advices.

Place where I live is Europe, Lithuania. Temperature in my room is always about 20-25 celcius and humidity is about 35-65%. Main quesion: how often I need to water my cactus? :D

Here I will add some photos and some information about sbustrate and fertilizers, because it's not in english.

So, wha is about fertilizer - it say I can use it every time when I water my cactus. What it have:
Nitrogen - 0,1%, phosphor 0 0,03%, potassium - 0,5%, organic fertilizers - 1%, moisture - 96% andn pH 11-13. Is that OKAY? :)
And a soil is with special sand and clay minerals for cactus it say. pH 5,5-6,5. Is that OKAY? :D

And there are some photos:

Welcome to the forum!

There is lot of topics discussed here about the watering, so read some. There is no definitive and fixed answer to this question. Everything depends on the species, size of the pot and cactus, growing conditions and the season. Wait to the soil to get dry before next watering.

Soil particles look too fine in that pot, better find something coarser like 5 - 10 mm perlite for the main component.

Fertilizer: Phosphorus source looks insufficient for me. And my last advice: cacti need more sunshine and less water and nutrients to be happy. How is the situation with sunshine in Lithuania?

I was too tired last night to reply about your fertilizer. I am assuming you dilute it and then water your plants. It is a very weak, low concentration fertilizer. What does the label say to do to use it?
