My Ferocactus herrerae is starting to bud. Are there special instructions for cacti with flower buds? Should I water or fertilize them more or should I just continue my regular regimen?

Keep the same line, don't dry it.
It's exotic at beginning, but later will be usual, most of them bloom all growing season.

One of the general rules is not to rotate or move potted cacti going to bloom. Most of them will bloom without any watering. Some, like Sulcorebutia, will compromise their flower buds after profound watering and proceed to vegetative growth. So the best advice is not to change anything.

Alright. I won't change my watering/fertilizing regimen. Thanks!

Some cacti will self-pollinate, others need cross-pollination. I don't know about this one (which looks like a Matucana to me).

Wait and see, it does look like it might be forming fruits.

Parodia haselbergii (=Acanthocephala haselbergii). The flowers readily self-fertilize and your plant is forming several fruits. :)

I think you're right. The flower color fooled me, but P. haselbergii is variable in that.

The fruits are not colorful, but you should get viable seed.

Update:
Seed collect.
I will air-dry them in room temperature for about 2 weeks.
