So I decided to go out on a limb and try my luck at a few of the more difficult species to grow. I just received a Pseudolithos Cubiformis and a Pseudolithos Migiurtinus. They came from Planet Desert in Fallbrook Ca. They grow some really nice plants for really nice prices.
They were shipped in the 3" pots. I should call them(take my own advice) to get an idea on what the mix consists of. I have searched the forums and have found some the older topics and have read through them. I'm looking for updated information.
I understand they need heat. No 45F nights. I have a space in my garage that i that I have set up as a nursery. (rooting and nursing) Wire Shelving and the T5 Grow lights. These stay on from around 7am to 6pm daily. The area stays around 60 f at night and 90 f during the day.
I understand that they can not be overwatered or underwatered.

But I want some help from the forums experts. In everyone's opinion what do you consider the best soil mix.

I just spoke with Planet Desert. The soil is currently 50% Peat and 50% Perlite. So yes it will need to be changes. But to what?

I use 75% pumice and 25% compost and they do well in it, a couple of them have flowered for me, they stay in my greenhouse where temps can drop to 30f or lower in prior years. Good luck with them, they are really interesting plants, right now P mcoyii is in flower, but I have no idea how to upload photos to the forum from my phone

Alejandro. How long have you had your plants?

The oldest ones are from 2015, plus other that are maybe 4 years old from a local grower

I can't seem to find how to upload photos here, years ago I had a photobucket account and it was easy to do from there, now with Facebook and Instagram I can upload the photos directly from the phone, any guidence on how to do it here will be appreciated Mike

Be aware with cold temps, they feel much better in room during winter rest.

Funny you should ask. The Cubiformis kicked the bucket 3 months ago. One day it was fine the next day the base turned to mush. Picture from today of the Migiurtinus. I did not realize until today how its doubled in size. 2 months ago I bought these 6 babies from an Etsy Seller. I paid for 5 and 6 arrived. Temps in the greenhouse dipped into the upper 40's f this winter. I used a small heater to keep things at 50 f. we only had a few weeks were the temps were below 50 f. I water the Migiurtinus when the pot feels light. About once a week.

All growing in the cactus soil mix I have been using for yrs now. No special mixes. Here in the desert and especially in the greenhouse, it works.
No flowers yet. Shaded direct morning sun. After 11am its the shaded sun throughout the greenhouse. They like heat.
