Opuntia Engelmanni Var. Texana

I just recently acquired several specimens of this cultivar and I can't find very much info on it. Can someone please tell me about this variety? Thanks in advance!
Opuntia Engelmanni Var. Texana is a synonym of Opuntia engelmannii var. lindheimeri. Here's a link to a little more info.

There are quite a few websites with a small similar amount of info using the Lindheimer name. Perhaps searching that route will get you more of what you're looking for.
