Echinocactus polycephalus is probably one of the hardest cactus to grow. If you don't have that much experience, it might sound like a certain death for any plant. But maybe your growing conditions might be much better than that of me or many others. I can't judge that very well.

"I harvest these plants from farms i am clearing to grow fruit trees on. They are not poached from public land or any private owners, so these are actually just being saved. I relocated them to my main farm for ground cover under trees and to protect trees from rodents, and sell them. I think its a cool way to recycle them as I don't like bulldozing land, I clear it by hand and replant what I can on other lots I don't touch. "
I don't believe it you cant grow fruit trees where these cactus live
"I can provide a cheaper price also because i propogate these by the hundreds at my nursery in LA county. These plants propogate great, so if you buy one you can easily turn it into 100+ over a few years if you like. "
No they don't propagate great total lie

looking further on Ebay dozens of these pulled right out of the ground for sale obviously by yahoos .

actually Keith you can grow fruit trees where cactus live. Palm Springs , Palm Desert and Indio have large area's of citrus. My neighbor has 2 lime trees, and Lemon and an orange. We have 2 Orange tree's growing. All it takes is water. This is prime desert area.
