The texture on the leaves reminds me of some Crassula species, but I don't know what this particular plant is.

Wouldn't expect this to be a Crassula. Maybe some Aloe? Look at http://www.llifle.com/Encyclopedia/SUCC ... ceae/Aloe/.

It's a little hard to see on this picture, but could also be a Senecio, like Senecio talinoides or Senecio scaposus.
