ferocactus sown from seed

Post by dinfelu »

these ferocactus seeds have been living in this glass for more than a year
, which is a technique that has given me good results

the substrate has 2/3 small stones and 1/3 of potting soil
I don't put the mixture in the microwave, I add water to keep it moist
and add the seeds

is all I do, I put its hermetic lid on the glass and leave them in a place where the morning sun hits them, let's say from 8 am to 1 pm.

I just open the glass to check that there is moisture, every 15 days these days that
It is not very hot once a week when the heat is strong June-July-August.

I hope to leave them there until next year when the cold passes, which is February-March

You can give me your opinion, I see them very healthy and happy, but all parents see their children that way.

regards

Take these 2 out of the glass to see if they grow faster than those in the glass, I took the smallest of this 1 month ago at the beginning of July I am not in a hurry because they grow, just curious
