Not a succulent - help anyway?

Post by BennieAnTheJets »

Hi,

You'all have been so super-helpful in the past with cacti and succulent IDs and I have one other plant that is dear to me (shown on a photo of an old photo, ha ha) that is not a cactus or succulent, but I was wondering if you would be so very kind and allow this one on here please?

Maybe some members like a few other plants, like me, and could help identify this one.

I would love to get this plant again, but without a name it is next to impossible.

Here it is: it is a leafy but fuzzy leafed plant that creeps on the soil. Could be a begonia, but maybe not, and if so, what kind? Never seen it flower but loved the thickness and fuzziness of the leaves and the pretty color of the leaves. Do you know what this may have been?

It's the one in the shallow pot behind the hoya, under the philodendron leaves:

Is it a Pilea?

The picture is blurry for me.

You'all, rock!!! I knew it!!!

Thank you both!

I think it is Episcia lilacina. Awesome. Now I can see if I can get a starter plant of this little wonder again.

Thank you so much!!! :love10: :notworthy:

you helped, too!!!

everyone taking a look and giving it a stab is super!

I looked up Pilea, too, and maybe it was one, but I ordered some Episcia and will see when they get here - right now, I think that is the one this time

so happy for anyone willing to help!
