Most Echinopsis hybrids will be happy with frost, even heavy all-day frost, if dry.
For most cacti, the temperature tolerance is better the drier the plant is.

I keep many Echinopsis / Lobivia / Trichocereus etc in an unheated cold frame, so they get severe all-day frosts a few times a year.

I keep mine in a shed under lights and no heat. I put them up because its going rain I need to start reducing the watering's. I like them down to zero by December. Don' t you just love all the cacti being lumped into Echinopsis. I keep going your kidding me right.
